👧🏻 Design has always been my passion and hobby since my early childhood.

My background
I have six years of experience developing curriculum and designing visually-appealing, and interactive training materials. While working as an Instructional Designer (ID), I developed a curiosity about UX & UI Design. As I began working with people, solving problems and designing outcome-oriented solutions gave me joy. I love collaborating with and learning from others, which brought me closer to UX & UI Design. I have a great passion for using technology to make digital experience fun and effective, and haven’t stopped working and learning about new technologies.
I want to apply my e-learning and instructional skills in both design and technology to solve real-world problems for companies and organisations.
I believe that the design process does not end once the product is created and shared with the users'. It’s important to seek feedback and evaluate their responses and strive towards improving the user experience.

adapting my ID skills to PRODUCT Design
In 2021, I practised my Instructional Design skills to learn UX/UI Design at CareerFoundry.
Here's how I've adapted some of the important skills!
Creating human-centered research and design processes.
Understanding my target users (from teacher, students, trainees to users).
From creating directions, manuals and other materials to creating user-interaction & responsive designs.
From writing stepped instructions to writing user-flows and sitemaps.
From drawing e-learning structures to drawing wireframes.
From working with subject matter experts, video editors, stakeholders to working with fellow designers and developers.
From asking questions to SME's to improve e-learning experience to asking questions to users and clients to improve user-experience.
From finding solutions that will help learners improve their knowledge to finding solutions that help users improve their interaction with a website or an app.
From developing storyboard and curriculums to developing prototypes and responsive designs.
From testing materials with teachers, students and staff to testing prototypes with end users.
From evaluating e-learning goals and achievements to measure user satisfaction and collect feedback.

My portfolio is a representation of what I’ve learned since I decided to become a Product designer. Coming from an education background, I am good at being empathetic with people, standing in their shoes to come up with solutions to meet their needs. Furthermore, I have a huge passion for not only learning design & tools, but also visual design. I love simple-looking and accessible designs that make the general layout neat and easy for navigating. I would be continuously learning more & more to apply my knowledge and skills to the future work.
